Leagues, lessons, camps and clinics

Anoka-Hennepin Community Education partners with our local communities and organizations to offer youth leagues and lessons throughout the year. Community Ed also coordinates athletic and academic camps and clinics at high schools across the school district throughout the year. 

Leagues offered:

  • Fall T-ball leagues for children ages 4-7 (Anoka) 
  • Junior tennis (Blaine)
  • NFL Flag Football (Anoka, Blaine and Champlin)

Lessons offered:

  • Learn the Sport of BMX Biking (fall, winter, spring)
  • Parent/child preschool gymnastics (fall, winter)
  • Preschool gymnastics (fall, winter)
  • Tornado Tumblers (fall)
  • Preschool Tough Tumblers - Andover Youth Wrestling (winter)

Examples of past high school camps and clinics offered:

  • Tennis Camps (Blaine and Coon Rapids High Schools) - Two sessions per summer.
  • Winter Trek (Blaine High School) - For seniors in the Outdoor Adventures class.
  • Off-season gymnastics training (Anoka High School) Grades 6-12
  • Tornado Force (Anoka High School) - Strength and conditioning 
  • Nitro-X camp - Seventh- and eighth-grade students work on remote-controlled cars and gain exposure to transportation careers.
