SUMMER CARE

Kids in gym

During the summer months, Adventures Plus provides additional care opportunities for elementary students. The summer program serves students entering kindergarten up to those entering sixth grade. Students must be enrolled in an Anoka-Hennepin school for the fall in order to receive summer care. The summer program focuses on youth engagement, with curriculum centered around creativity and the arts, language and literacy, cognitive, physical, social and emotional development. Children may choose to participate in interest-based activities such as visual and performing arts, reading and writing, math and science, physical games, outdoor play as well as team building and problem-solving.

Schedule - Summer child care through Adventures Plus will be available Mon. - Fri. from 6:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. beginning June 15 through August 27, 2026. Program will be closed June 19 and July 3. The summer program will be offered as a pick-your-day schedule with a minimum of 20 days required to be selected throughout the programming dates. Days of care may vary from week to week.
