Adventures Plus is a popular service and child care openings fill quickly. Contracts (accepted or pending) do not carry over from season to season or year to year. All families, including waitlisted families, must register annually for any future care.

Families will register for school year and summer care separately based on your family needs. Registrations are reviewed in the order that they are received in our online system and can take up to ten business days to process. Accounts that have an overdue balance will not be processed. The school year program accepts registrations throughout the year and children may be enrolled as openings become available.

Rates and billing

Parent/guardian fees fund the Adventures Plus school age child care program, which is coordinated by the Anoka-Hennepin Community Education department. Families are charged fees based upon their child care agreement, not actual attendance. This includes when the child is not in attendance due to illness, personal reasons and inclement weather. The family is responsible for all charges that are incurred, as well as all fees outlined in the Family Handbook.

Payment is due on the first of each month for the current month. Autopay can be set up by an account owner in your online child care account. Manual payments can also be paid online through your child care account. To pay by cash or money order, you must pay in person at the central billing office. Adventures Plus school-age care requires a non-refundable registration fee of $35 per child, per season, charged at the time that the contract is accepted.
