Parent Advisory Council
The Anoka-Hennepin Early Childhood Parent Advisory Council (PAC) provides input and support to the ECFE and the Anoka-Hennepin Schools Preschool programs.
PAC members:
- Serve as a resource to staff on programming.
- Discuss outreach efforts.
- Raise funds.
- Sponsor events.
- Review and approve classroom grant requests.
Attending Parent Advisory Council (PAC) meetings is a great way to learn more about school district programs and make personal connections with other families. Meetings are typically held on the third Monday of each month.
Parent Advisory Council-sponsored activities include:
-ECFE 50th Anniversary Celebration
- Teacher appreciation events
- Fundraising (fall and spring)
- Classroom mini-grants
- Vehicle Day

Families explore a big truck during Vehicle Day!
Diaper Drive
Choosing between diapering your baby and putting food on the table is a choice no parent wants to make but, sadly, one in three do. To help families in need, the ECFE/Preschool Parent Advisory Council is hosting a Diaper Drive. They have created an Amazon Wish List for families to donate purchased diapers and wipes.
Take a look at the list and help where you can. Simply add items to your cart and select “Anoka Family Place” as the address to ship to!
All purchases will be given to our Home Visiting team, cultural liaisons, and newborn parenting educators who will distribute to families in need.
2025-2026 Meetings
In-person meetings are held from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. at the Educational Service Center (ESC) located at 2727 N. Ferry St., Anoka, MN 55303. Child care is provided for all in-person meetings. Call 763-506-6171 to reserve a spot for your child.
