Child care jobs

Adventures Plus is the school-age care program for Anoka-Hennepin Schools. Located in schools throughout the district, the program provides before- and after-school child care for elementary age students. 
 
These jobs and career pathways are often appealing to:

Open positions

  • Adventures Plus - Child Care Assistants - Part-time / Casual hours 
    Child care assistants supervise and interact with school-age children, assist in planning appropriate activities and other duties as assigned. Some child care assistant positions may be sick leave eligible.
     
  • Adventures Plus - Child Care Assistants - Lane 2
    Lane 2 child care assistants supervise and interact with school-age children, support children with special needs according to their inclusion plan, and perform duties as assigned.  Some Lane 2 positions are insurance benefit-eligible. 
     
  • Adventures Plus Site Leaders   
    Site leaders plan and carry out activities for school-age children and supervise children involved in the program.  They also supervise child care assistant staff and perform other duties as assigned. Some site leader positions are insurance benefit-eligible.
     
  • Adventures Plus substitutes
    Substitutes use our subfinder system to select shifts at their preferred locations. Substitute positions are available for all Adventures Plus positions listed below.
