Anoka-Hennepin Community Education reaches more than half a million people every year - through classes, services, tours, programs, outreach activities and athletics. Community Education is provided by the Anoka-Hennepin School District as an efficient and effective way to offer residents of all ages the opportunity for lifelong learning.

Mission: The Anoka-Hennepin Schools Community Education department is dedicated to lifelong learning, involving people and enriching communities.

Enriching lives at every age & every stage.

When you are born, you can attend an Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) class with your mom or dad.
When you are three, you can go to preschool.
When you are six, you can receive before- and after-school child care at your elementary school.
When you are nine, you can take an after-school Spanish, art, science or recreational activity or class.
When you are 12, you can play volleyball through the middle school athletics program.
When you are 15, you can enroll in driver education classes.
When you are 17, you can volunteer in the community.
When you are 25, you can play in a recreational athletic league.
When you are 30, you can take the GED or a computer class to help you get that job promotion.
When you are 43, you can serve on the parent-teacher organization at your child's school.
When you are 51, you can do a lap swim.
When you are 64, you can take a class about investing.
When you are 72, you can take a defensive driving course.
When you are 84, you can take a painting class.
